under the top-level domain .si (“General Terms and Conditions”);
1.2. All the terms used in these Rules have the same meanings as in the General Terms and
Conditions, unless explicitly stated otherwise by these Rules;

service;
1.4. From the moment a Domain name is registered, there exist contractual relations between Arnes
and the Domain name holder in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions;
1.5. The basic function of the WHOIS search service is to enable data to be found on the Domain name
holder of a Domain name and the technical contact person for the Domain name by entering a
Domain name;
1.6. The purpose of the WHOIS search service is to provide reasonably accurate and current data on
the Domain name holder, Registrar and technical contact person for Domain names, and hence the
transparency and stability of operation of the domain-name system under .si;
1.7. Data obtained via the WHOIS search service are exclusively informative in nature.
2. OBLIGATIONS OF REGISTRAR AND DOMAIN NAME HOLDER

whether the Domain name holder is a legal or natural person. The object type may be organisation
or person.
2.3.1. If the object type is an organisation, the Domain name holder shall be assumed to be a legal
person.
2.3.2. If the object type is a person, the Domain name holder shall be assumed to be a natural
person.
2.4. No subsequent changes to the object type shall be possible.
2.5. The Registrar shall be obliged to inform natural persons submitting Domain name registration
requests of the possibility of creating and using a special function electronic mail address for
publication in WHOIS for an individual object type. This electronic mail address is an alternative to
the use of the personal email address, and is unrelated to any personal data.
